The Eco Homestay in Cao Bang offered two standout features during my stay. the room with a private bathroom, balcony, and sofa was a welcome addition. It provided a comfortable and relaxing space to unwind after a day of exploration. the homestay had a room with 8 beds, which was perfect for larger groups or solo travelers looking to meet new people. Plus, the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
One minor downside was the lack of competition in Cao Bang. With few hostels in the area, the prices were slightly higher compared to other cities.

Our apartment was nice right by the center, local restaurants and the bus stop. It was great to the waterfalls. We really enjoyed the property and our stay, it was comfortable.

The staff had a knack for turning local insights into unforgettable experiences. They even helpfully provided a bike and car rental service. And the bed in the dormitory? Why, it's practically a five-star hotel!
Oh, the beds were almost as comfortable as sleeping on a concrete slab. Such a delight!

This budget-friendly homestay is conveniently located near the waterfalls, making it easy to explore the natural beauty of the area without having to spend too much money on transportation. It is also right next to the bus stop, allowing for easy access to other attractions and activities in the region. the rooms are spacious and cozy, with comfortable beds and clean private bathrooms. the friendly staff provides excellent service, and breakfast is offered. there are facilities such as a motorbike rental shop and a great little dog named Bo to add to the overall experience.
One minor drawback is that the check-out process can be a bit inconvenient, as it may not always be possible to check out early in the morning as requested.

The room was absolutely fantastic, spacious, clean, and super comfortable. The owners were incredibly kind and always ready to help. We loved trying the fried noodles with homemade sausage, it was absolutely delicious. the breakfast served at the hotel was amazing, one of the best we've had in a homestay. On top of that, the staff was really helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The internet connection in our room wasn't very good, but it worked perfectly fine in the rest of the lodge. the room had a bit of a damp smell, but we heard that it's pretty standard for this region in North Vietnam.

The staff provided "useful" information.well, I guess if you call recommending touristy restaurants and attractions useful. They also had a bicycle and car rental service, which I didn't use because I'd rather walk barefoot on hot coals. The bed in the dormitory had a "view", but unfortunately, it was of a construction site. Yay!
Just one sarcastic sentence? Well, let me think.

This place is a hidden gem! The beds are unbelievably comfortable with curtains for privacy. The breakfast is absolutely mouthwatering, and the coffee is so satisfying. The trust-based tab system is genius - you can enjoy any drink you want without constantly paying for it. They also have reliable bike rentals. But the owner is the real star here! When I had a motorbike accident, he went above and beyond to take care of me. He picked me up, accompanied me to the hospital, and even paid for my bill. He fixed my bike and provided everything I needed. The kindness and service at this place are outstanding. I cannot thank them enough and will definitely be coming back!

The double room was absolutely perfect for our stay. It had a cozy kitchen with a stovetop, which made cooking a breeze. The tile floor gave it a rustic charm, and the air conditioning kept us cool in the hot weather. We also loved the seating area, where we could relax and unwind after a long day of exploring.
The only thing I didn't love was that the dormitory room had a washing machine. Personally, I prefer to do my laundry in town to fully immerse myself in the local experience.

I had a great stay at this eco homestay in Cao Bang. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and I was in my room within minutes of arriving. The room itself was comfortable and met my expectations. One of the best aspects was the delicious breakfast provided, with a variety of options to choose from. the location was convenient and close to key attractions in the region. I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the ease of my stay.
The only drawback I encountered was during check-out. I had requested to leave early in the morning, but unfortunately, no one was available until around 7:30 to 8 am.
